The metric calculations are based on U.S.-listed ETFs that are classified by ETFdb.com as being mostly exposed to a specific natural resource. If an ETF changes its natural resource classification, it will also be reflected in the investment metric calculations. The calculations exclude all other asset classes and inverse ETFs.

Energy and all other natural resources are ranked based on their aggregate 3-month fund flows for all U.S.-listed ETFs that are classified by ETFdb.com as being mostly exposed to those respective natural resources. 3-month fund flows is a metric that can be used to gauge the perceived popularity amongst investors of Energy relative to other natural resources. If an ETF’s natural resource classification changes, it will affect the fund flow calculations. The calculations exclude all other asset classes and inverse ETFs. Return Leaderboard

Energy and all other natural resources are ranked based on their AUM-weighted average 3-month return for all the U.S.-listed ETFs that are classified by ETFdb.com as being mostly exposed to those respective natural resources.
