On July 11, 2012, PQIA issued a Client Alert on Golden Stallion Super Professional Plus 10W-30. Days after publishing the alert, PQIA acquired cellphone calls and a letter from, Dean Mohammad, president and CEO of US World Petroleum, the manufacturer of Golden Stallion. The letter acknowledges there were points with a restricted volume of product and so they have been immediately addressed. Additional U.S. International Petroleum encouraged PQIA to proactively take a look at its products and go to its facility to see its “state-of-the-art packaging equipment” in action.

Open ...Notice: PQIA appreciates U.S. International Petroleum reaching out to us about this challenge, and we are inspired by the corporate’s suggestion to proactively check its merchandise and invitation to go to its facility. In an effort to guarantee the standard and integrity of lubricants within the marketplace, you can be sure PQIA will achieve this, and as always, publicly report our findings.

Update February 2013: In an effort to guarantee the quality and integrity of lubricants within the marketplace, PQIA took US Global Petroleum up on its supply to go to its facility and proactively test its packaged and bulk merchandise. We did so on two occasions, together with September and October 2012. During that point, we randomly pulled samples of quart bottles from stock and two samples from discharge strains leading to bulk tanks. As proven beneath, each of the samples examined meet their stated specs as an API SN, ILSAC GF-5 for the 5W-, and 10W-30 viscosity grades.
